Andy Gawlowski

My name is Andy. I grew up in Poland and Germany and have been based in Zurich, Switzerland since 2009. I discovered photography in the late 1990s while working in a photo lab. What started as a hobby quickly became a lifelong pursuit.

Travel photography is my greatest passion. The images that move me most are the ones made on the road. My style is shaped by storytelling, atmosphere, and a quiet intensity. I'm drawn to foreign cultures, shifting light, and the quiet moments found off the beaten path.

The first exhibitions were followed by various commissioned works and an award at the Sony World Photography Awards. My work has been featured in travel magazines and international publications.

Since May 2026 I've been travelling the Panamericana, from Canada towards Patagonia, in a converted Mercedes that used to be a fire truck. You can follow where I am and the photographs I make along the way on the Panamericana page.
